  1. regularise (verb) – establish, recognize, confirm something officially (something which is a temporary arrangement till date).
  2. refugee (noun) – displaced person,asylum seeker, escapee/exile.
  3. contentious (adjective) – controversial, disputable, debatable.
  4. ill-advised (adjective) – ill-considered, misguided, injudicious.
  5. discourse (noun) – discussion, debate, talk; argument.
  6. per se (adverb) – (Latin) in itself, of itself, as such, intrinsically.
  7. diaspora (noun) – the people who spread/scatter from their own country to places across the world.
  8. bar (noun) – ban, prohibition, restriction.
  9. seek (verb) – ask for, request, call on, appeal for.
