1. Tejas to participate in prestigious Cobra Warrior exercises of the Royal Air Force in the U.K.
- India’s first indigenously designed, developed and manufactured Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, will take part in the famed ‘Cobra Warrior’ exercises, a multi-nation air exercise at Royal Air Force (station) Waddington, UK.
- The Cobra Warrior exercises are the largest joint military exercises conducted by the Royal Air Force (RAF) in the United Kingdom for over a decade.
- LCA Tejas Mk 1A has an indigenous content of 60 per cent.
2. Professor Neena Gupta Receives Ramanujan Prize For Young Mathematicians
- The Ramanujan Prize for Young Mathematicians was awarded to Professor Neena Gupta, a mathematician of the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata, in a virtual ceremony on 22nd February 2022.
- She received the award for the year 2021 for her outstanding work in affine algebraic geometry and commutative algebra.

- Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal has inaugurated “Nikarshan Sadan” – The DCI (Dredging Corporation of India) Dredging Museum at DCI campus in Visakhapatnam.
- The museum displayed models of different types of dredgers, vintage photos and historical milestones of this dredging behemoth from the Eastern Port City of Vizag.

5. DRDO and IIT Delhi scientists demonstrate Quantum Key Distribution between two cities 100 kilometres apart
- A joint team of scientists from Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, for the first time in the country successfully demonstrated the Quantum Key Distribution link between Prayagraj and Vindhyachal in Uttar Pradesh, a distance of more than 100 kilometres.
6. Israel successfully tests naval version of Iron Dome
- Israel has successfully tested a new naval air defense system, intercepting a series of threats in what officials called a key layer of protection against Iran and its proxies in the region.
- The C-Dome system is a naval version of the Iron Dome.

- The number of dollar-millionaire households in the country has increased by 11% to 4,58,000 households compared to last year, according to the latest Hurun India Wealth Report 2021.
- According to the report, the number of Indian dollar-millionaire households is estimated to increase by 30% over the next five years to reach 6,00,000 households by 2026.
- A dollar-millionaire household has a net worth of at least INR 7 crore.
