1. Union Agriculture Ministry to launch ‘Kisan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari’ campaign
- Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is organizing the ‘Kisan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari’ campaign.
- The campaign which will continue till 30th of this month is being organised under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ in association with various other Ministries and Departments.
2. PM Modi to inaugurate 7th edition of Raisina Dialogue
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the seventh edition of the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi.
- President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen will be the chief guest at the Dialogue. Several former Prime Ministers of different countries and other dignitaries will also participate in the event.
- The 3-day Dialogue is based on the theme – Terranova, impassioned, impatient, imperilled.
3. PM Modi visits J-K to participate in Panchayati Raj Day event, inaugurate Amrit Sarovar initiative
- The Prime Minister will visit Palli Panchayat in Samba district.
- He will inaugurate the Amrit Sarovar initiative which is aimed at developing and rejuvenating 75 water bodies in each district of the country.
- The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of three road packages of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway and Ratle and Kwar Hydroelectric projects
- He will also inaugurate the 8.45 km long Banihal Qazigund Road Tunnel.
4. 2022 Asian Wrestling Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; Ravi Dahiya became the first-ever Indian to win hat-trick.
- Ravi Kumar Dahiya (57kg) won his third successive gold medal in the Asian Wrestling Championships.
- He also became the first-ever Indian freestyle wrestler to win a hat-trick of Asian Championship gold medals.

- Senior Congress leader K Sankaranarayanan, who served as governor of various states during his decades-long career, passed away.
- He was 89.
- The senior Congress leader was a four-time legislator and had held finance, excise and agriculture portfolios in various governments in Kerala.

- Meghalaya’s former chief minister J.D. Rymbai, passed away.
- He entered active politics in 1983 and contested elections to the legislative assembly of Meghalaya on the Congress party ticket from the Jirang constituency successfully.
- He replaced D.D. Lapang as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya in 2006 for a year.
