4. This year 12th WTO Ministerial conference will be held in Geneva
- The 12th WTO Ministerial Conference is all set to begin in Geneva, Switzerland after a gap of almost 5 years.
- The key areas of discussions & negotiations this year’s conference include WTO’s response to the pandemic, Fisheries subsidies negotiations, Public Stockholding for Food security, WTO Reforms and Moratorium on Custom Duties on Electronic transmission.

5. Maharashtra gets 12 new conservation reserves and three wildlife sanctuaries
- The 18th State Wildlife Board meeting chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray approved 12 new conservation reserves that will cover an area of 692.74 sq km and two new sanctuaries (including a flamingo sanctuary) covering an area of 298.61 sq km.
- In addition, the board also cleared the extension of Lonar wildlife sanctuary area and 10 endangered wildlife habitats.
