3. Nirmala Sitharaman launches facility for instant allotment of e-PAN based on Aadhaar
- As announced in the Budget earlier, FM launched the facility for instant allotment of PAN card using Aadhaar-based e-KYC.
- The facility is now available for all applicants who possess a valid Aadhaar number and a mobile number registered in UIDAI database.
- Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a 10-character alphanumeric.
4. Simon & Schuster names Jonathan Karp as new CEO
- Jonathan Karp, who has worked with authors ranging from Sen. Edward Kennedy to Susan Orlean, has been named the new CEO of Simon & Schuster.

- Launched it to create awareness around its products like FASTag, RuPay, UPI, AePS on a real-time basis.
- PAi is developed by Bengaluru based startup CoRover Pvt Ltd.
14. Facebook launches CatchUp, an audio-only calling app
- Facebook’s internal R&D group, NPE Team launched a new app called CatchUp that makes it easier for friends and family in the U.S. to coordinate phone calls or set up group calls with up to 8 people.
