1. World Milk Day 2020
- Established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations,
- The day is celebrated to recognize the importance of milk as global food.

2. IT Minister Launches National AI Portal of India
- Minister for Electronics & IT, Law & Justice & Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad launched India’s national Artificial Intelligence Portal called www.ai.gov.in.
- It was jointly developed by MeiTY & IT Industry and he also launched ‘Responsible AI for Youth’.
- ‘Responsible AI for Youth’ aims to make youth AI-ready.
3. Missile park to be set up at INS Kalinga
- The foundation stone for a Missile Park named ‘Agneeprastha’, a one-stop arena for the motivation of inquisitive minds regarding missiles, was laid at INS Kalinga.
- The park aims to capture glimpses of missile history of INS Kalinga since 1981 till date.
- INS Kalinga is a Navy establishment located in Andhra Pradesh.
4. MP govt launches ‘Rozgar Setu’ scheme to provide employment to labourers
- Madhya Pradesh is the first state to launch a unique scheme to harness the work efficiency of labourers, ‘Rozgar Setu’ and to provide employment to them.
- Labourers will be provided employment in industries; construction works according to their skills.
- Survey work of skilled migrant labourers is to be started.
5. Piyush Goyal attend Digital Summit on Exports organized by CII
- Piyush Goyal, Minister for Commerce & Industry & Railways, participated in the Digital Summit on Exports organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) which has completed 125 years.

- India for a global electricity grid called for bids to roll-out “One Sun One World One Grid” (OSOWOG) plan.

8. Yes Bank Acquires 24% Stake In Dish TV After Invoking Pledged Shares
- Yes Bank, after the invocation of pledged shares, has acquired 44,53,48,990 equity shares of Dish TV India constituting approximately 24.19% of the post-issue paid-up share capital as at March 31, 2020.
- Dish TV is a DTH entertainment service provider.

9. SpaceX makes history with successful first human space launch
- SpaceX flew NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to space aboard its Crew Dragon spacecraft using a Falcon 9 rocket.
- The launch, titled ‘Demo-2’, is for final demonstration mission in human rating process of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon and Falcon 9.
- It is the first time that humans have been aboard SpaceX vehicle.
10. Stefan Manegold Wins 2020 Sigmod Contributions Award
- CWI researcher Stefan Manegold was awarded the 2020 SIGMOD Contributions Award.
- It recognizes his innovative work in data management community to encourage scientific reproducibility.

11. Delhi-based NGO wins WHO award
- The World Health Organization (WHO) has conferred the World No Tobacco Day Award 2020 to the Socio-Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEDS).
- WHO has awarded for its efforts to ban pan masala, gutkha, e-cigarettes and hookah in Bihar and Jharkhand.
- SEEDS is among the 3 awardees from the South East Asia region.
