1. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar launches ‘Shahakar Mitra Scheme’
- The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar launched Shahakar Mitra: Scheme on Internship Programme, an initiative by NCDC.

2. Govt launches AarogyaPath portal for healthcare supply chain
- AarogyaPath, a web-based solution for the healthcare supply chain was launched to serve manufacturers, suppliers and customers to effectively deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
- This portal will remove supply chain bottlenecks during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- CSIR launched the AarogyaPath portal.
3. ‘COVID-19 and Child Labour : A Time of Crisis, A Time to Act’ Report released
- ILO and UNICEF have released report on Child Labour titled ‘COVID-19 & Child Labour: A Time of Crisis, A Time to Act’.
- According to the report, COVID-19 will increase poverty that will eventually drive the increase in child labour.
- 1% poverty increase will lead to 0.7% increase in child labour.
4. Ghar Ghar Nigrani app launched in Punjab for COVID-19 house-to-house surveillance
- The Punjab government launched a mobile application aimed at undertaking house to house surveillance to contain the spread of COVID-19.
- The app, ‘Ghar ghar nigrani’, was launched by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh through video conference.
- People above 30 years will be surveyed as part of the drive.
5. Delhi LG forms panel to help tackle spread of Covid-19
- Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal appointed a six-member advisory committee to suggest effective measures to the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to tackle the Covid-19 outbreak in the city.
- And also to guide the augmentation of hospital beds.
- Committee is constituted under the section 17 of DDMA Act.

7. J&K: Govt launches J&K Poultry Policy 2020
- J&K launched J&K Poultry Policy, 2020/Operational Guidelines to promote establishment of poultry units in the region.
- For that announced a dedicated UT allocation of Rs. 50 Cr as subsidy per annum for establishment of broiler/layer farms & other allied activities.

8. RBI sets up panel to review ownership, corporate structure of private sector banks
- The Reserve Bank of India has constituted a five-member Internal Working Group to review the guidelines related to ownership, governance and corporate structure of private sector banks.
- RBI Central Board Director P K Mohanty will head the committee.
- Committee will submit its report by 30th of September 2020.
9. Rs 14,690 crore disbursed under Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme
- As of 11 June 2020, PSBs have sanctioned loans worth Rs 29,490.81 crore under the 100% Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS).
- Out of which Rs 14,690.84 crore has already been disbursed, the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s office said.
- Out of this, SBI sanctioned Rs 14,148 crore.
10. Urdu poet Gulzar Dehlvi dies days after recovering from COVID-19
- Veteran Urdu poet Anand Mohan Zutshi ‘Gulzar’ Dehlvi passed away after he recovered from coronavirus.
- He was also the editor of ‘Science ki Duniya’, the first Urdu science magazine published by the Government of India in 1975.
- He was a freedom fighter and a premier inquilabi poet.
