4. NLC India, CIL sign pact to form JV to develop 5,000 MW solar, thermal power assets
- NLC India has signed a pact with state-owned CIL to form a joint venture to develop 5,000 MW of solar and thermal power assets across the country.
- Equity participation in the proposed JV between Coal India Ltd & NLC India will be in the ratio of 50:50.

5. Bharat Bond ETF second tranche launched, base issue size of Rs 3,000 cr
- Edelweiss Mutual Fund launched the second tranche of the Bharat Bond exchange-traded fund for a base size of Rs 3,000 cr.
- Finance Minister N Sitharaman had announced the launch of 2nd tranche with Edelweiss as the fund manager & AK Capital as govt advisor.
- The new Bharat Bond ETF series will mature in April 2025 & 2031.
6. RBI asks banks to reclassify MSMEs as per revised criteria
- The classification would be on the basis of Govt notified new criteria for the classification of MSMEs on the basis of turnover and investment in plant & machinery.

7. ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission captures image of the biggest moon of Mars
- The Mars Colour Camera onboard ISRO’s Mars Orbiter Mission has captured the image of Phobos, the closest & biggest moon of Mars.
- The Rs 450 cr MOM mission aims at studying the Martian surface & mineral composition as well as scan its atmosphere for methane.
- In 2014 successfully placed MoM spacecraft in Mars orbit
8. AIR begins broadcast of its first ever news magazine programme in Sanskrit
- The programme titled, ‘Sanskrit Saptahiki’ will be of 20 minutes duration.
