1. SBI report says in Q1 FY23 India’s GDP growth in expected at 15.7%
- India’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate in the April-June quarter of the ongoing fiscal is expected at 15.7 percent due to the low base effect and consumption boost post easing of Covid restrictions, says the latest SBI Ecowrap report.

3. Telangana tops inflation charts at 8.32%
- While headline inflation measured by the CPI has averaged 6.8% in the first seven months of 2022, well above the 6% upper tolerance threshold set by policy makers, a dozen States clocked an average inflation of less than 6% and another 12 States averaging over 7%.
