2. Exim Bank extends $215 million line of credit to Malawi
- India based finance lender Export-Import Bank of India announced to extend $215.68 million Line of Credit (LOC) to the Malawi government for drinking water supply schemes and other development projects.
- So far EXIM Bank has extended five LOCs to Malawi.

- Chamber sanitises 25 pairs of uniforms within 15 minutes.

- India’s first infectious disease diagnostic lab is now ready.
- This rapid response mobile laboratory is part of government’s Aatmnirbhar Bharat.
- This laboratory was built in a record time of eight days from the date of receipt of Automotive Chassis, from Bh.

7. CM Uddhav Thackray and Dr Harshvardhan e-launched ‘I-FLOWS’ a flood warning system in Mumbai

10. RBI bars People’s Co-operative Bank from granting fresh loans, accepting deposits for 6 months
- RBI has barred Kanpur-based People’s Co-operative Bank from granting fresh loans and accepting deposits for six months, due to its weak financial position.
- The RBI also said no withdrawal of amount of a depositor will be allowed from the co-operative bank.
- Bank is barred from selling, transferring/ disposing assets.

12. New fish species discovered in Arunachal Pradesh
- A new species of fish from genus Schizothorax has been discovered in Arunachal Pradesh by Dr. Keshav Kumar Jha of Nehru College, Pasighat.
- The name of this fish species has been derived from the name of the rivers where it was found.
- The fish species is named as Schizothorax sikusirumensis.
13. Former Member of Planning Commission, A.Vaidyanathan, passed away at 88
- Former Member of the Planning Commission Dr A Vaidyanathan died in Coimbatore.
- He was 88.
- Vaidyanathan was a professor at the Madras Institute of Development Studies and Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram.
- He was related with planning in Kerala, Karnataka & TN.
14. Vasant Raiji, world’s oldest first-class cricketer, passes away at age of 100
- India’s oldest 1st-class cricketer Vasant Raiji, a right-handed batsman passed away at 100 due to old age at his residence in Mumbai.
- Vasant Raiji is a former opening batsman who represented Bombay, Baroda, & CCI in first-class cricket between 1941 & 1950.
- Vasant Raiji made his 1st-class debut in 1939 for the CCI team.
