- The app reached 50 million downloads just 13 days.
- It becomes the world’s fastest downloaded app, said NITI Aayog CEO, Amitabh Kant.
- It is developed by the NIC under Ministry of Electronics and IT.
9. Chitra GeneLAMP-N makes confirmatory tests results of COVID 19 possible in 2 hours
- Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum, has developed a diagnostic test kit.
- The kit can confirm COVID19 in 2 hours at low cost.
- GeneLAMP-N can detect two regions of the gene.
