1. PM Modi launches ‘Atma Nirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan’ for migrant workers
  • It is launched in 31 districts of the state.
  • These districts have more than 25,000 returnee migrant workers, including 5 aspirational districts also.
  • Loan amount of 5900 Cr will be distributed to 2.40 lakh units.

2. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan launches ‘eBloodServices’ mobile App
  • Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan launched the ‘eBloodServices’ mobile App.
  • It is under the Digital India scheme.
  • The app has been developed by the Indian Red Cross Society through a video conference.
  • The Health Minister is also the Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society.

3. Avaada Energy to set up 350 MW solar plant in Maharashtra

6. IRDAI sets-up panel for drone insurance
  • IRDAI = Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.

  • YES Bank in association with UDMA Technologies has announced the launch of a unique digital wallet ‘Yuva Pay’.

8. ABB Power Grids India signs MoU with National Institute of Technology, Warangal
  • ABB Power Grids India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW), Telangana.

9. J&K Bank launches products to provide financial support to business communities
  • J&K Bank has launched two products titled ‘J&K Bank Business Support Loan Scheme 2019-20’ and ‘J&K Bank Business Support Loan Scheme 2019-20 for Hotels and Guest Houses’.

10. Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) to set up taskforce for ‘Golden Hour’ accident claims
  • MoRTH will set up a ten-member task force to work out the modalities of funding motor accident victims’ treatment during the crucial ‘Golden Hour’.
  • The NHA will be the nodal agency for coordinating payments made to the hospitals that treat such patients.
  • The golden hour is the first hour after an accident occurs.
11. Google Photos gets new logo, map view, improved Memories with new overhaul for Android, iOS
  • Google Photos has received a major overhaul as part of the new update, version 5.0, which has led to the introduction of a new design, a new logo, and new features.
  • The app is now divided into just 3 sections to give ‘more prominence’ to photos and videos.
  • Google Photos was announced in May 2015.
