1. Telangana to have first Integrated Rocket Facility of country by Skyroot Aerospace
- Telangana will have the country’s first integrated rocket design, manufacturing and testing facility in Hyderabad by Skyroot Aerospace.
- The Hyderabad-based startup, incubated at T-Hub, launched the country’s first private rocket, Vikram-S, earlier this month.
2. Health Ministry appoints first woman Paralympic medalist Deepa Malik as Ni-kshay Mitra ambassador
- The MoHFW appoints Padma Shri, Khel Ratna Arjuna laureate Deepa Malik as Nikshay Mitra Ambassador, an initiative of Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
- The ‘Ni-Kshay Mitra’ initiative was launched by President Droupadi Murmu to help TB patients on three levels – nutrition, additional diagnostics and professional support.
- Union Minister of Health and Family (MoHFW): Dr. Mansuk Mandavia.
3. 128 artists to receive Sangeet Natak Akademi awards for 2019, 2020, 2021
- The Akademi announced 128 Akademi Puraskar recipients and 10 leading figures in the performing arts world as Akademi Fellows.
- It announced the names of 86 artists who have received a one-time Sangeet Natak Akademi Amrit award under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM).
- It also announced the names of 102 artists for Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar.
4. Telangana scores a double win at Unesco heritage conservation awards
- In the list of the 2022 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation announced in Bangkok, the Stepwells in the Qutb Shahi Tombs complex in Golconda were selected for the Award of Excellence, while Kamareddy’s Fort Domakonda was selected for the Merit Award.
5. Jio rolls out 5G services in all Gujarat districts
- Jio has announced that it has rolled out True 5G network across all its headquarters in 33 districts of Gujarat, making the western state the first in India to get 100% coverage of 5G services in the state.
- As a model state, Jio said it would launch a series of True 5G-powered initiatives in Gujarat and then extend it across the country.
6. Supreme Court launches online Right to Information (RTI) portal
- The Supreme Court has launched its online portal through which citizens can submit requests under the Right to Information (RTI) in Court-Related Matters Act.
- This portal is only for Indian citizens to file applications, initial appeals and fees under the Right to Information Act.
7. Third Global High-Level Ministerial Conference on Antimicrobial Resistance(AMR) at Muscat, Oman
- World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2022 concluded on 25 November with the 3rd Global High-Level Ministerial Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance with the agreement of the AMR Muscat Ministerial Declaration.
- The 2-day conference which began in the Omani capital of Muscat November 24, follows two earlier high level conferences held in the Netherlands in 2014 & 2019
- The theme of the meeting was : The AMR Pandemic: From Policy to One Health Action.
8. Youngest entrepreneur Ravi Kumar Sagar conferred with the prestigious Dr. Kalam Seva Puraskar
- Ravi Kumar Sagar, 22, one of the youngest founders and CEOs of RK’s INNO Group, was conferred the most prestigious Dr. Abdul Kalam Seva Puraskar award.
- Kalam Seva Puraskar is hosted every year by Vandhe Bharat Foundation and LeadIndia Foundation to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

10. Udaipur gears up to host first G20 Sherpa Meeting in India from Dec 4 to 7
- Udaipur, the city of lakes, is gearing up to host India’s first G20 facilitator meeting on December 4-7.
- The conference aims to foster growth and build linkages among the twenty countries.
- The G20 Sherpa meeting is expected to be held at the Darbar Hall at the City Palace Udaipur
- The former CEO of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant is the G20 Sherpa from India.
11. Private equity funds can directly invest in insurers: IRDAI
- IRDAI enables private companies to invest directly in insurance companies, optionally through a special purpose vehicle (SPV).
- Investors can now hold a 25% stake in an insurance company without being named as a promoter.
- Promoters of listed entities have been allowed to dilute their stake up to 26% in insurance companies.
12. India’s proposal for enhance protection to Leith’s softshell turtle adopted at wildlife summit in Panama
- The 19th CITES Conference of the Parties, held in Panama City from 14-25 November, approved India’s proposal to improve the conservation status of the Leith’s soft-shell turtle.
- The Leith’s soft-shelled turtle is a large freshwater soft-shelled turtle that inhabits rivers and reservoirs.
- It is endemic to peninsular India.
- It is listed on Schedule IV of the Wild Life Act, 1972.
- Leith’s softshell turtle is now part of Appendix I of CITES from Appendix II.
13. Nitin Gadkari approves 4-Laning of Bhiwani-Hansi road section of NH-148B under Bharatmala Pariyojana in Haryana worth Rs.1322.13 Crore
- Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced that the Bharatmala Pariyojana’s 4-Laning of Bhiwani-Hansi Road Section in the districts of Bhiwani and Hisar, with a budget of Rs. 1,322.13 crore (US$ 161.79 million), has been authorised.
- According to him, the project would enable swift transportation and improved inter-district connection in Haryana.
