3. SIDBI sets up fund to facilitate free onboarding of MSMEs on TReDS platform
  • SIDBI has set up ‘Swavalamban Crisis Responsive Fund’.
  • It has set up support free onboarding for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on trade receivables discounting system (TReDS).
  • The free onboarding of MSMEs would be available till September-end.
  • Fund target to onboard 10,000 MSMEs during the period.

4. Indian Navy inducts Advanced Torpedo Decoy System ‘Maareech’
  • Anti – Submarine Warfare capability of the Indian Navy has received a major boost with the conclusion of a contract for Advanced Torpedo Decoy System Maareech.

5. Culture Ministry to celebrate Sankalp Parva from June 28-July 12
  • The Union Ministry of Culture has announced that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry has decided to celebrate a 2-week long tree plantation campaign.

6. IKDRC, Ahmedabad commissions fully automated liquid oxygen tank
  • In Gujarat, the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre, Ahmedabad has commissioned a fully automated liquid oxygen tank in its premises.
  • The institute started releasing uninterrupted oxygen supply in hospital wards from a 10000 ltr capacity tank.

11. China, Pak sign deal over hydel power project under CPEC worth $2.4 billion in Pakistan Administered Kashmir
  • A tripartite agreement was signed between a Chinese company & the government of Pakistan and China.
  • It was signed for construction of a 1,124-megawatt hydropower project at Kohala on the Jhelum river at a cost of $2.4-b.
