4. PM Modi appoints committee headed by Rajnath Singh for MSME loan scheme implementation
  • According to the MSME Minister, Nitin Gadkari Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appointed a committee.
  • The Committee is headed by Rajnath Singh to resolve any problem in the implementation of the Rs 3 lakh crore collateral-free loan scheme.
  • Collateral-free loan scheme for MSMEs announced by the FM.
  • Cabinet recently approved the change in the definition of MSME.

  • Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry recently revised the public procurement order to encourage Make in India initiative.

  • India dropped six places to 23rd spot.

  • Ircon International Ltd has inked a pact with NIIFL and Ayana Renewable Power for exploring opportunities in the solar energy sector.

8. PM Modi launches CHAMPIONS portal to empower MSMEs
  • PM launched the tech platform ‘Champions’ to help the smaller MSMEs by solving their grievances, encouraging and supporting them.

9. Delhi CM launches app to help track hospital beds, ventilators for COVID-19 patients
  • Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a Delhi Corona App for people to give accurate information about beds and ventilators availability in city’s hospitals.
  • He urged the people to download the App.
  • This app will be updated two times a day.
  • A helpline number 1031 was also announced.
10. Tata Power acquires 51% stake in Odisha’s TPCODL
  • Shares of Tata Power increased nearly 7 per cent in intraday trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
  • After electric utility company said it has completed the acquisition of 51 per cent stake in TP Central Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPCODL) for Rs 178.5 crore.
  • Tata Power has received the license for 25 years.
11. I&B Ministry releases e-booklet on Narendra Modi govt 2.0’s 1st year in office
  • The 92-page booklet ‘One Year of Modi 2.0 -Towards A Self-Reliant India’ has been brought out by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
  • The booklet has a separate section for the actions taken to fight the pandemic and deal with the economic fallout

12. Former Union Minister, Congress Leader from J & K passes away
  • Former Union Minister and three-time Congress MP from Ladakh, P Namgyal, passed away in Ladakh.
