• ICICI Bank announced that it has launched for its customers the facility with which they can now use the iMobile app to withdraw cash in a simple and safe mode.

7. Gross NPAs as a percentage of gross loans outstanding of RRBs marginally declined to 10.4 per cent as on March 2020

• Gross NPAs as a percentage of gross loans outstanding of RRBs marginally declined to 10.4 per cent as on March 2020 from 10.8 per cent as on March 31, 2019, as per paper published by the NABARD, based on the data on ENSURE portal

10. NASA lifts off SS Kalpana Chawla cargo spacecraft

• A commercial cargo spacecraft bound for the International Space Station (ISS) has been launched carrying the name of deceased NASA astronaut Kalpana “K.C.” Chawla.
• Kalpana Chawla is the first Indian-born woman to enter space, for her key contributions to human space.
• She died with her 6 members aboard space shuttle Columbia (2003).
