7. Geo-fencing app will be used to locate quarantine violators
  • The government has tested an app that triggers e-mails & SMS alerts to a government agency if a person has jumped quarantine,
  • Based on the person’s mobile phone’s cell tower location.
  • The geo-fencing is accurate up to 300 m.
  • Kerala was one of the first states to use geofencing to track.

  • Emmy Winner Adam Schlesinger.
  • He is known as the co-founder of the 2000s pop-rock band Fountains of Wayne.
  • He is also known for co-writing the band’s 2003 hit Stacy’s Mom.
  • He won three Primetime Emmys.
