1. E-Commerce Marketplace – Etsy Inks Pact With NEHHDC To Support Northeast-Based Weavers & Traditional Artisans
- Etsy, the global marketplace for unique and creative goods, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation (NEHHDC) to promote small sellers, weavers, and craftsmen by providing market access and enablement support.
2. City Union Bank gets M Narayanan as part-time chairman
- Narayanan has assumed charge as part time chairman of City Union Bank Ltd. for a period of 2 years.
- The bank announced his appointment after accepting the recommendations of the RBI.
3. Late Journalist Danish Siddiqui Wins Second Pulitzer Prize, This Time For Covid Coverage In India
- Photojournalist Danish Siddiqui, who lost his life last year after a Taliban ambush while reporting in Afghanistan has been honoured with a Pulitzer Prize for feature photography for his coverage of the Covid situation in India.

- Indian battery maker Exide Industries and joint venture partner Switzerland’s Leclanche SA have begun mass production at the nation’s largest lithium-ion battery plant in the western state of Gujarat.
- Nexcharge has so far invested 2.5 billion rupees ($33 million) in building and setting up the plant, which also has a cell testing lab.

- These devices come with pre-loaded content along with personalised and adaptive learning software, and 2GB free data.

- Public sector Indian Bank has unveiled digital broking solution.
- Name of it is E-Broking, allowing customers to open a demat and trading account facility, in line with the digitalisation mission of the bank.
- The launch of digital broking solution ‘E-Broking’ was a strategic step towards complete digitalisation of its offerings to customers.
11. SEBI forms advisory committee headed by Navneet Munot, for ESG-related matters
- Capital markets regulator Sebi has constituted an advisory committee for advising on ESG (environment, social and governance) related matters in the securities market.
