1. Bengaluru airport voted as best regional airport in India & Central Asia
  • The Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru has won this year’s SKYTRAX Award for Best Regional Airport in India and Central Asia.
  • It was voted as the best Regional Airport for the third time in four years at the 2020 World Airport Awards.
  • Previously, this airport was adjudged the best in 2011 & 2012.

2. Singapore Changi Airport crowned the “World’s Best Airport”
  • It has crowned for the eighth consecutive year.

4. MP Home Minister launches country’s first ever ‘FIR Aapke Dwar’ Yojana
  • Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to launch the scheme.

12. IBA’s Rs 75,000-crore bad bank idea takes shape
  • The Indian Bank Association (IBA) has firmed up a proposal to house approximately Rs 70,000-75,000 crore of bad loans at book value in its proposed ‘bad bank’.
  • The Bad Bank would require approximately Rs 10,000 crore of capital initially.
