1. Indian Army and Indian Air Force conduct joint exercise ‘Gagan Strike’ in Punjab
- Army’s Kharga Corps and the Indian Air Force conducted a joint exercise to showcase the might and prowess of the armed forces.
- Termed “Gagan Strike”, the exercise was conducted over a period of four days in several areas of Punjab, bordering Ambala in Haryana.Operation validated the Apache 64E and Advanced Light Helicopter WSI as potent weapon delivery platforms.

2. PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates World Dairy Summit 2022 in Greater Noida
- According to union minister for fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying Parshottam Rupala, India is hosting the International Dairy Federation (IDF) global dairy summit after 48 years, where more than 1,500 experts, farmers and processors of dairy products from 50 countries will be participating.
- Last time, India hosted the International Dairy Congress in 1974.

- Indian Army chief General Manoj Pande flew a sortie in an Indian Air Force (IAF) Apache attack helicopter in Ladakh.
- He is on a two-day visit to the Union Territory.
- The Apache choppers have been deployed in the Ladakh sector since the beginning of the military standoff with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

7. Bank of Maharashtra mobilises ₹710 crore through Bonds
- State-owned Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) said it has raised ₹710 crore from bonds to fund business growth.
- The fund raised via Basel III compliant Additional Tier 1 (AT1) bonds of ₹710 crore (including green shoe option of ₹610 crore) is at a coupon rate of 8.74 per cent, the bank said in a statement.

9. Odisha government launches Rs 270 crore rainwater harvesting scheme to improve groundwater table
- The Odisha State government is set to launch the Community Harnessing and Harvesting rainwater Artificially from Terrace to Aquifer (CHHATA) scheme that aims to reinvigorate groundwater resources and improve water table from next month.
- The new scheme was approved by the Cabinet last month.

- Indian Navy’s indigenously designed Nilgiri-class stealth guided missile frigate Taragiri launched 11 september 2022 in Mumbai.
- The frigate Taragiri has been built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) for the Indian Navy.
- Taragiri, a 149-metre-long and 17.8-metre-wide ship is propelled by a combination of two gas turbines and two main diesel engines.

- The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) is planning to build a National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at the site of the Indus Valley civilization in Lothal, Gujarat.
- A first of its kind complex in India, this centre will showcase India’s rich and diverse maritime heritage.
