4. First Time India sends tri-services contingent to Russia’s Victory Day Parade
- India is to send its tri-services contingent of all 3 services namely army, navy & air force to Russia for the 1st time.

- The society has won the award ‘in recognition of the work of DDS women to rehabilitate degraded lands & promote biodiversity’.

6. Trustees of PM CARES appoint ‘SARC & Associates’ as auditor of fund
- Trustees of the Prime Minister’s Citizens Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund, appointed ‘SARC & Associates, Chartered Accountants, New Delhi’ as the auditors for three years.
- Sunil Kumar Gupta heads the firm.
- Firm was the auditor of PM’s National Relief Fund in 2019.
7. India 9th largest recipient of FDI in 2019: World Investment Report
- India received $51 billion in foreign investment in 2019.
- UN Conference on Trade and Development in its report said, it was the world’s ninth largest recipient of FDI.
- In the developing Asia region, India was among the top five host economies for FDI.
- FDI to India increased 20% to 51 billion US dollar.
8. PSBs disburse Rs 16,031 Cr to States & UTs so far: FM Nirmala Sitharaman
- FM Nirmala Sitharaman said, the Public Sector Banks have disbursed Rs 16,031 crore to the States and Union Territories so far.
- She said, PSBs have sanctioned loans worth 32,049 crore rupees under the 100 per cent Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.
- SBI made the maximum disbursements, Canara Bank is the 2nd.
9. Airtel Payments Bank launches ‘Suraksha Salary Account’ for MSMEs
- Airtel Payments Bank launched a new salary account for micro, small & medium enterprises, Called the Suraksha Salary account.
- It will enable MSMEs & other organisations to make cashless payments and provide a financial security blanket to their employees.
- The account has no minimum balance condition.
10. Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs launches e-Office application
- CBIC launched the e-Office application in over 500 CGST and Customs offices pan India.
- Over 50,000 officers and staff will use this application, making CBIC one of the largest Government departments to automate its internal office procedures.
- CBIC Chairman M Ajit Kumar launched the application.
11. Thaawarchand Gehlot to inaugurate Composite Regional Centre for persons with disabilities in Ranchi
- Social Justice & Empowerment Minister, Thaawarchand Gehlot will inaugurate Composite Regional Centre in Ranchi through video conferencing amid COVID 19 pandemic.
- CRC will implement various schemes of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
- Centre shall operate as an extended arm of SVNIRTAR, Cuttack.
12. Grand Anicut Dam declared open by Tamil Nadu ministers
- The Grand Anicut Dam, on the Cauvery river was formally declared open by Tamil Nadu state ministers.
- The move is expected to ensure adequate availability of water for mitigating close to three and a half lakh hectares of farmland in the Delta region.

13. Uttar Pradesh govt decides to adopt scheme of Flatted Factory Model
- UP decided to adopt the scheme of Flatted Factory Model to ensure easy availability of land for industries, & in turn, generate employment.
- Policy will allow the owner of an industrial land of at least 5 acres to develop 1/4th of it as flatted factory.
- Criteria : Minimum structure of 4 stores, including ground floor.
