  • Government nominated Natarajan Chandrasekaran as a part-time non-official director on the RBI’s central board.
  • Chandrasekaran, who was the COO of the TCS earlier & now the Chairman, has been appointed as the official director for the period of two years.
  • The RBI’s central board currently has 15 directors.

  • Veteran Kerala theatre artist, actor and singer Pappukutty Bhagavathar passed away in Kochi at the age of 107.
  • The veteran artist had acted in over 25 Malayalam movies.
  • He is popularly known among peers as the ‘Kerala Saigal’.
  • He had performed in more than 10,000 plays.
