1. Aman Sherawat becomes first-ever Indian wrestler to win gold at U-23 World Championships
- 18-year-old Aman Sehrawat created history as he became the first-ever Indian wrestler to win a gold medal at the U-23 World Wrestling Championships.
- Aman defeated Ahmet Duman of Turkey by 12-4 in the 57 Kg category final.
- Earlier in the tournament, Indian Greco-Roman wrestlers created history by bagging three medals at the championships.

2. ISRO launches 36 OneWeb satellites in 1st commercial launch for LVM-3
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched a constellation of 36 broadband satellites developed by OneWeb to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) on Sunday.
- The ISRO confirmed that LVM3-M2/OneWeb India-1 Mission successfully placed 36 satellites into intended orbits.
- This is the first commercial launch for LVM-3 and the mission is being conducted under an agreement.

- Adani overtook Mukesh Ambani, whose net worth is reportedly $88 billion.

6. To enhance credit access Mahindra Finance partners India Post Payments Bank
- Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited announced a strategic alliance with India Post Payments Bank to provide loan access to a bigger consumer base.
- As part of this agreement, IPPB will offer Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Ltd (MMFSL) with lead referral services for Passenger Vehicles, 3-Wheeler, Tractor, and Commercial Vehicle Loan categories, as well as cash EMI deposit facilities at Post Offices.

7. Big push for One Health: FAO, UNEP, WHO, Animal health body lay out plan
- FAO, together with the United Nations Environment Programme, the World Organisation for Animal Health and the World Health Organization launched the One Health Joint Plan of Action (2022–2026).
- Four international organizations have formulated an action plan to sustainably balance and optimize the health of humans, animals, plants and ecosystems.
- Six key areas were focused on in the plan:
- One Health capacity for health systems.
- Emerging and re-emerging zoonotic epidemics.
- Endemic zoonotic.
- Neglected tropical and vector-borne diseases.
- Antimicrobial resistance and the environment.
- Food safety risks.
8. Ashwini K.P. Becomes first Indian to be appointed Independent Expert on racism by UNHRC
- The UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) appointed the first Asian and first Indian as an independent expert on racism and related intolerance.
- The 47-member UN human rights body, based in Geneva, endorsed the appointment of activist and professor of political science, Ashwini K.P as Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.

9. India successfully testfires new-gen nuclear-capable ‘Agni Prime’ ballistic missile off Odisha Coast
- India successfully test-fired a made-in-India new-generation medium-range ballistic missile ‘Agni Prime’ from the Odisha coast, Defence Research and Development Organisation or DRDO sources said.
- The sleek missile was test fired from a mobile launcher from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island.
- The missile’s strike range is between 1,000 km and 2,000 km.
- This was the third consecutive successful flight test of the Agni Prime missile.

10. Shri Jaxay Shah nominated as the new Chairman of Quality Council of India
- Jaxay Shah, former Chairman of CREDAI and founder Chairman of Savvy Group has been appointed as the Chairman of Quality Council of India.

- The incumbent chairman succeeds the former McKinsey India Chief Adil Zainulbhai.

11. Hardayal Prasad quits as PNB Housing Finance MD, Girish Kousgi to replace him
- PNB Housing Finance’s managing director Hardayal Prasad has resigned from his role, citing personal reasons.
- He is being replaced by Girish Kousgi, who has been the managing director and chief executive officer of Can Fin Homes.
- The company has asked deputy managing director Amitabh Chatterjee to manage the affairs of Can Fin Homes in the interim period.

13. IndusInd Bank to loan $150 million from US DFC to support women entrepreneurs
- IndusInd Bank has executed an agreement with the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) for a $150 million loan to expand its microfinance portfolio.
- The private sector lender will use the proceeds to lend to women borrowers in rural communities of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

14. UCO Bank opens special rupee account with Russia’s Gazprombank
- Russia’s Gazprombank opened a special rupee account with state-owned UCO Bank, paving the way for bilateral trades between Moscow and New Delhi.

- Earlier, the Reserve Bank of India came out with a bespoke special rupee account for bilateral trades between rupee and any other currencies besides the US dollar.
